Bliss: a foodie break in the Gothic district

bliss

Bliss is a very apt name for this perfectly charming café.

A break outside of time

One of the things we particularly like about Bliss is the terrace located on the Plaça de Sant Just. It’s a really special place the likes of which is quite rare in Barcelona.

At the same time central and typical of the Gothic district, the Plaça de Sant Just is nevertheless calm. There are no cars along it, and the surrounding little streets are not too busy with pedestrians. It is therefore a real peaceful haven where a cool silence reigns.

Sometimes the peace is interrupted by a few notes of guitar music, coming from the steps of the church on the square. This only adds to the charm of this place that’s hidden among the old Gothic stones.
