Casa Gracia: a youth hostel full of charm in Barcelona

Arriving at the Casa Gracia is like being welcomed into a big family house, where each generation has left its mark on the interiors.

Located at the crossroads of Avinguda Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia, the hostel is very close to key tourist sites, to the most vibrant quarters and to shopping areas. Shopaholics beware: there really are shops everywhere…

Light, airy and pretty spacious, the dorms sleep 6. There’s not much in the way of storage, but there’s enough space for everyone’s belongings. The tasteful décor creates a relaxing and restful atmosphere. Most of the dorms have their own bathroom.

The huge kitchen, which opens onto the dining room, has just been redecorated. The bottle-green tiles and the long wooden refectory table give a definite “family” feel to the place.
