Halloween in Barcelona: the best events for a frightfully good time!

Ah, Halloween… the only time of the year when you actually want to be surrounded by sinister and terrifying creatures.  Whether you want to waltz with a witch, drink with Dracula or, why not, do zumba with zombies, this is the time to do it. We’ve taken the time to sort through the ghoulish delights on offer in Barcelona this year: here are our top picks for Halloween entertainment.

Elrow Halloween Party: a circus near the airport

The décor is the main attraction here! The things that go on at this circus-style open-air club, 20 km from the centre of Barcelona, are practically impossible to describe – and the Halloween show is certain to be a mindblowing experience!

  • Actors in costume walk the floor – on stilts – whilst others take to the stage to create a truly terrifying spectacle.
  • Look out for the confetti cannons (they don’t just launch confetti) and be prepared to fight your way through giant cobwebs…

Halloween in the Poble Espanyol

It’s time to take out the zombies’, witches’ and skeletons’ costumes! The Poble Espanyol of Barcelona will become the perfect place to celebrate one of the most terrifying traditions of the year!

You can enjoy a place with terrifying decorations and spooky characters. There will be many activities and workshops for children: from spaces to draw, to scary obstacle courses and film screenings. It’s the perfect plan for a fun family day!

November 1- November 3, from 10am to 6pm

Halloween in Port Aventura

Do you dare to enter a jungle full of strange creatures and secret passages? The park prepares fun evenings for the most terrifying party of the year!

Come and enjoy an impressive show in the darkest lake of the park!

In addition, each day at closing time, the all family will enjoy the special Halloween parade!

From September 21 to November 17, 2019
