Twice a year, some of Barcelona’s most prestigious shopping venues stay open late into the evening for The Shopping Night Barcelona. A great opportunity for a spot of retail therapy in an unusual and surprising environment!

The perfect opportunity for shopping

The winter edition of the Shopping Night Barcelona is held in late November or early December each year, along the Passeig de Gràcia and the surrounding streets, which are decorated for the occasion.

  • Stores remain open from 8pm – 1am and offer special reductions on their collections.

If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping, this is the moment! The illuminations set up along the streets will help get you into the festive spirit.

  • The winter edition of 2018 is celebrated on November 22nd!

Things to see and do

There are plenty of other things to see along the streets and in the shops. Some of the indoor events are invitation-only, but the outdoor activities are open to all.

Each year, the streets and stores are decorated following a specific theme – previous editions have featured Shakespeare and Alice in Wonderland!


The Shopping Night Barcelona: summer edition

In summer, Shopping Night Barcelona leaves the Passeig de Gràcia and sets up home on Avigunda Diagonal, on the stretch between Carrer Joan Güell and Carrer Entença – roughly from the María Cristina metro station to L’Illa Diagonal shopping centre. Activities are held inside the shopping centre and at the nearby Pedralbes Centre.

Many shops arrange special offers just for the event, and the stores, hotels and restaurants in the area play host to a range of different activities. are a range of activities.
