You can easily spend half a day there, there is so much to see. Given the whimsical nature of the works it&#8217;s also a space that children love. You can see giant tableaux, optical illusions, a face room, mechanical jewellery and even a flooded car. It is located beyond the Costa Brava and has its own airport. It is a dynamic and pleasant city with a historic centre full of charm (take a tour of the monastery, the church and the Jewish quarter) and a whole heap of lovely little boutiques.<\/p>\n<p>Girona is equally well known for its brightly coloured houses bordering the river. The perfect place for taking superb photos! The fastest is to take the TGV on its way to France (38 minutes, a little over &euro;30 return). You can also take a regional train which will take more or less time depending on the timetable. Its historical centre has foundations dating from 2000 to 1500 BC.
