Montjuïc funicular in Barcelona

If you don’t want to pay around 10 euros to get to Montjuïc by cable car, you can choose to climb in a funicular. There’s nothing spectacular about it, but it has the advantage of being part of the metro network so you can use it with a normal metro ticket from the Paral·lel station (L2, L3). It is also adapted to people with reduced mobility.

Stops on the Montjuïc funicular

There are only 2 stops: Paral·lel and Montjuïc.

To take it from Paral·lel, you just have to go down any of the metro entrances and follow the signs. It’s as simple as taking a main metro line.

At Montjuïc, it will leave you near the Miró Foundation.

Montjuïc funicular prices

The journey will cost you €2.40 if you take a one way ticket, and less if you use another transport card. A bargain!
