The lineup? Sun, musical discoveries and a great atmosphere. It&#8217;s not bad!<\/p>\n<h2>The Primavera Sound 2020 line up<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe line up focuses as much on emerging electro and indie rock groups as on more well known bands.<\/p>\n<p>In total, more than 70 artists participate in the festival. The complete list of concerts is visible on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.primaverasound.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">official Primavera Sound site.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Primavera Sound Tickets<\/h2>\n<h3>Tickets for the entire festival<\/h3>\n<p>\nAs soon as you know you are coming to Barcelona for Primavera Sound you should buy your tickets immediately, for the simple reason that the longer you wait the more the price goes up.<\/p>\n<p>To get the lowest price you will need to buy your ticket a full year in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Sales then continue all year long, with the price changing roughly every 3 months. If you buy your ticket between the end of June and January it will cost cheaper. Starting in January, the prices of the tickets are from 200 euros. It&#8217;s not cheap but there really are a lot of concerts.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Entry restrictions for Primavera Sound<\/h2>\n<h3>Primavera Sound bracelet and pass<\/h3>\n<p>\nYour Primavera Sound ticket will be exchanged as soon as you arrive. Organizers give you a bracelet and a pass that you should present every time enter a concert.<\/p>\n<p>Do not destroy or lose these as without them you will not be allowed in.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Minors<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Entry is free for children aged 14 and under.<\/li>\n<li>Young people over 15 need a paid ticket and to be accompanied by their parent or a legal guardian. You will need to present ID at the entrance as well as a document proving you are the parent or legal guardian.<\/li>\n<li>Minors aged 16 and 17 do not need to be accompanied.<\/li>\n<li>Some events organized before and after concerts are restricted to people over 18.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Forbidden items<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Recording devices and professional cameras (such as Reflex) are not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>It is not permitted to bring drinks in. However, tickets don&#8217;t come cheap. That said, a calendar of free concerts is organized across Barcelona in parallel to the Primavera Sound festival: the Primavera a la Ciutat.\n<\/p>\n<h3>The Primavera Sound opening day in the Primavera a la Ciutat<\/h3>\n<p>\nPrimavera a la Ciutat and Primavera Sound are two sides of the same beast. Primavera Sound always opens with a day of free concerts in connection with the Primavera a la Ciutat. These are held in the Parc del F&ograve;rum (the location for Primavera Sound) and are open to all, and feature national and international artists, including some major stars.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Primavera a la Ciutat in the Raval<\/h3>\n<p>\nPrimavera a la Ciutat is not limited to the Primavera Sound site. The free festival also takes over the Raval, one of Barcelona&#8217;s liveliest quarters.<\/p>\n<p>No less than 70 artists from a variety of genres take to the stage at the <a href=\"\/cccb-contemporary-culture-museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CCCB<\/a>, one of the city&#8217;s most emblematic cultural centres. The festival has two main aims: to raise awareness of new groups, and to make live music more accessible for the general public. A fantastic idea!<\/p>\n<p>Concerts are held outside or in one of the halls within the centre.\n<\/p>\n<h3>Primavera als Bars<\/h3>\n<p>\nMany bars across Barcelona also play host to free concerts in connection with the Primavera a la Ciutat initiative.
