Everything you need for a memorable holiday!<\/p>\n<h2>Discover Catalan traditions<\/h2>\n<h3>Summer at full blast with Sant Joan<\/h3>\n<p>\nThe night of the 23rd and 24th of June is a holiday in Barcelona, when we celebrate the arrival of Summer on the beach and all over the city.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More info in <a href=\"\/sant-joan-holiday\/\">our article on the Night of Sant Joan<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nIn terms of food, tradition dictates that you eat the <em>coca de Sant Joan<\/em>, a sort of Catalan focaccia stuffed with conserved fruits. Do not omit to try the savoury version of the coca with pieces of bacon in it.\n<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dancing eggs<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\nOn the 21st of June, you will have a chance to attend another quite curious Barcelona tradition. This is the <em>ou com balla<\/em> (as the egg dances). Fountains, gardens, courtyards and religious places are decorated with flowers and fruits and empty eggs are placed balancing on jets of water to make them&#8221;dance&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<h2>Dancing at concerts<\/h2>\n<h3>8th of June: Simfonic<\/h3>\n<p>\nThe idea behind the Simfonic concerts is to offer 100 free concerts simultaneously across Catalonia and the Balearics, involving thousands of musicians and singers.<\/p>\n<p>There are concerts in the morning and in the afternoon and they are varied: classical music, traditional, gospel, jazz, pop, rock, swing, rap, hip hop, electronic&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>There are many concerts in Barcelona spread over numerous areas of the city.
