Friendly and lively in the daytime, Barcelona shows its more sinister side after dark, and conceals some surprising secrets. Just wait until you see the faces in the stone wall&#8230; be afraid. Be very afraid.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"is-style-checklist\">\n<li>The tour is based on a book, <em>Fantasmas de Barcelona&nbsp;<\/em>(&#8220;Ghosts of Barcelona&#8221;), which the author, Sylvia Lagarda-Mata, decided to adapt into a guided tour.<\/li>\n<li>All of the stories are at least partly true. We&#8217;ll let you decide which bits to believe&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Good walking shoes are highly recommended as you&#8217;ll spend two hours wandering the paved side-streets of the Born.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ghost Walking Tour: the guide<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe tour guide certainly knows how to spin a yarn! Our guide was also able to go from Spanish to English in the middle of a tale without skipping a beat, and without losing the audience &#8211; a seriously impressive talent.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/08\/Ghost-Walking-Tour-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5449 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/08\/Ghost-Walking-Tour-2.jpg\" alt=\"Ghost Walking Tour dark streets\" width=\"628\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/barcelona-top-travel-tips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/08\/Ghost-Walking-Tour-2.jpg 628w, https:\/\/barcelona-top-travel-tips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/08\/Ghost-Walking-Tour-2-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 628px) 100vw, 628px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Whilst she claims to be sceptical with regards to the existence of ghosts and other peculiar spirits, the guide does say she&#8217;s felt some strange things during the tours.
