In summer, Barcelona<\/a> really comes to life – al fresco <\/em>living is a local speciality! Every year in early June, some of the city’s best hotels throw their doors open as part of Terrace Week.<\/p>\n

Free activities in magnificent settings<\/h2>\n

\nTerrace Week is a major event on the Barcelona social scene since it was founded in 2011. This year, from June 7 to 16, 65 hotels participate in the event and they are offering over 240 original and free activities such as cookery and cocktail workshops, live music, yoga lessons, magic shows and special events for children.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe terraces participating in the festival are absolutely magnificent, and most of them are located in 4- or 5-star hotels: there are some pretty impressive venues on the list! Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself…<\/p>\n
