to discover designers from Barcelona

Ivori means Ivory in Catalan (you might have guessed this), and ivory was the colour chosen to decorate this shop and to accentuate its beautiful 19th Century ceiling. Here, nothing is left to chance: Carola, the owner has a keen eye for detail, and it shows…

Clothes and accessories “made in Barcelona”

The Ivori brands

The central theme at Ivori is that all the items were designed and made in Barcelona or Catalonia.  There are some exceptions but they are rare. At Ivori you can find  numerous brands by young Catalan designers, and one created by Carola: Ivori.

The Ivori selection

Ivori doesn’t just sell clothes: the shelves are also full of jewelery, scarves, swimsuits, bags, shoes and perfumes. And I should warn you straight away, it’s all quite difficult to resist! Although the items are all very different, they have been meticulously chosen by Carola according to two simple criteria: their origins in Barcelona and their coherence with the rest of the boutique. Ivori: a chic, unique and timeless style

Ivori’s specialty is quality pieces that are at the same time original, chic and adorable. OK, so they might not be super cheap but the price is reasonable considering the materials chosen are very good quality and the pieces are all made in Catalonia. Personally I fell in love with the jewelery, and the good news is they are among the cheapest things in the store!

Carola regularly brings out exclusive collections where each piece is unique and made with vintage fabric. If you’re looking for a true celebration of authenticity then look no further…

Useful information

  • Ivori is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 8:30pm. It closes briefly at lunchtime, between 2pm and 3pm, but just for long enough for Carola to eat.
  • Carola is very nice and glad to offer assistance with a smile!
