Barna House B&B, formerly known as Casa Dover is located in the Gràcia area, known for its Bohemian atmosphere.
Barna House B&B: common areas
Barna House B&B is actually a large 7-bedroom apartment. In order for each of the bedrooms to have its own large window, the little lounge and kitchen are arranged in the centre of the apartment.
Lounge
The lounge is furnished with two couches where you can consult the books on Catalonia that are lying around. This relaxing space also has a television.
- Ask for a room on the kitchen side if you don’t want to be disturbed by the sound of the television.
Kitchen
The kitchen is available for storing food, preparing cold food and re-heating food in the microwave. It is an open and friendly space arranged around a large table designed to bring all of the bed & breakfast’s guests together. This is where a buffet continental breakfast is served in the morning.
Barna House B&B Rooms
All rooms have heating and air conditioning. Some overlook the street, and these are less quiet but do have a pleasant little balcony with garden table and chairs.
Others give onto the interior patio, and these are less noisy but do not have a balcony. However, they do provide direct access to the patio, so you can go out and smoke for example. The standard rooms have twin beds that you can join together if you wish.
The “suites” are more spacious and have a more considered decor and double beds.
Useful information
- Check-out is before noon.
- A member of staff is present every morning until around 2pm, after which there is a number to call if you need assistance.
- Barna House B&B offers a free luggage service.
