for original styles

During one of my walks through the interweaving little streets of the Gothic district, I happened to come across a very charming and retro fashion boutique with that Spanish name, Novedades Dorins, that is redolent of the 60s and 70s and refers to what I can only describe as a little marvel!

Novedades Dorins and its 60s and 70s inspired fashion

Any self-respecting 60s fan will be very happy at Novedades Dorins due to their two annual Winter and Spring-Summer collections. All of the shop’s styles are standards of women’s fashion in the 60s and 70s.

Mostly black, the dresses are often brightened with a printed and colourful or flared end, and the well-cut styles catch your eye from out on the street.

You might also fall for a reversible scarf (one side black and the other printed in bright colours) to complete any outfit. In Winter you can also find light jackets in original styles made from embossed fabric.

Gemma creates all the styles sold in the boutique. friendly, communicative and passionate, it is easy to see that Gemma loves what she does! Furthermore, her brand’s slogan “Made with love in Barcelona!” nicely sums up her state of mind.

As she knows all of the styles like the back of her hand, she is wonderfully helpful when it comes to choosing the size or style that suits you best.

Novedades Dorins is great value

Mindful of cultivating a loyal local clientele, while also enticing Barcelona’s visitors, Gemma and Sebastián are careful to offer great fashion at a great price.

A winter dress will therefore cost you around 60 euros and a light jacket around 100 euros. Given the quality and the beautiful cut of these original pieces, rest assured this is a great deal!

So if you want to treat yourself and stand out without breaking the bank, do not miss the super-feminine 60s styles of this little boutique.
