OMG BCN (for Oh My God Barcelona, obviously) is a brightly coloured little shop in the Born that wants you to take away a little piece of Barcelona in your suitcase. And why not!

A boutique in Barcelona’s image

When choosing the items to sell in their store, the owners are immovable on 2 criteria:

  • The items must have been made in Barcelona by Barcelona designers or by people working in Barcelona.
  • Items should be good quality and represent the spirit of the city.

That way, you can be sure of buying a souvenir or gift that is 100% Barcelona. Which makes a change from keyrings and fridge magnets made in China.

What can you buy at OMG BCN?

The boutique is very small, but we found a number of treasures: original Barcelona souvenirs, fashion and decoration accessories, jewelry and items for children. The selection is very pleasing and varied.

When I was there I fell in love with two pretty little handmade ceramic cups in pastel colours. Original and unique! Just like everything else here.

Attention to detail at OMG BCN even extends to panots on the floor with a flower motif typical of Barcelona pavements. OMG, it’s amazing!

OMG BCN, much more than a boutique

OMG BCN wants to promote Barcelona designers by offering more than a simple boutique. So workshops are regularly organised to share methods and skills among makers in Barcelona.
