Free tickets: open door days and mass at the Sagrada Familia in 2019
If you ask us, Sagrada Familia is a unique masterpiece. If there is one thing you shouldn’t miss in Barcelona, this is it. You absolutely must schedule it in.
But the 15 euro entry price to this splendid basilica means not everyone can afford it. In certain cases it is possible to get into the Sagrada Familia without paying.

Hello!
What does “People with a disability of 65% or more and their companion” refer to? In my country I have a disability certificate (I have an autoimmune disease), but there is no kind of percentage stipulated; we have degrees,
minte is considered a second degree type. Could I benefit a free entrance. What do I need to do and have on me. I’ll be in Spain with my mom and cousin, would one of them be considerate a companion and benefit a free entry?
Thank you!
Hello Mihaela,
I could check that a second degree disability corresponds to a disability of 50%-69%, so I think there is no problem for you. Your mom or your cousin (only one of them) who will benefit a free entry too.
Have a nice trip with your family!
How can i get a free mass tickets
Good morning Roel,
As we explain in our post, you don’t need tickets for international masses. Thee entrance is free but the capacity is limited. We advise you to go there in advance.
Have a good day!
Hello!
How can you prove you’re unemployed if you’re not from Spain? Will a legalized and translated certificate from your home country count as proof?
Thank you!
Good morning Zlatka,
As they say in their official website, they only accept “unemployed (with Spanish official certificate – DARDO)”, so maybe you can’t enter for free if you are not from Spain, even if you are unemployed.
Either way, you can’t book free tickets online for unemployed people, so I recommend you to ask directly in the ticket office.
Have a nice visit!
Hi
