Summer Sales 2020 and winter sales 2021 in Barcelona
- The Summer Sales starts on 1st July 2020.
- The Winter edition starts on 7th January 2021 and the last day is the 31th March.
- Stores often offer promotions on their items before the official sale date!
Sunday and public holiday openings in Barcelona
Sunday trading isn’t universally authorised in Spain, but every year, the Generalitat publishes a list of 8 Sundays or public holidays on which the shops are allowed to open. Each municipal authority in Catalonia is allowed to change 2 of the 8 dates selected by the Generalitat.
Working in association with the shops, municipal authorities are allowed to select 2 extra dates in addition to the 8 authorised by the Generalitat.
